On The Road Again: A Tooth Taxi Update

by Mary Daly, Program Manager, Tooth Taxi
Update Number 56 | February 16, 2010 | Cottage Grove / Bohemia Elementary

Blue sky in Cottage Grove!  Nancy Ingram RN coordinated the Tooth Taxi visit to Bohemia Elementary school in Cottage Grove, including students from other schools in the district.  See att. photo of Nancy with the Tooth Taxi team.  A poster advertising the Tooth Taxi was one way to get the word out to students about our upcoming visit.  Cottage Grove is located at the Southern tip of Lane County and is known as the “Covered Bridge Capital of Oregon.” Several movies scenes have been shot in and around Cottage Grove over the years: Stand By Me, Animal House, Emperor of the North Pole.  The school is named after James “Bohemia” Johnson, from the days of his 1863 gold discovery.
