On The Road Again: A Tooth Taxi Update
by Mary Daly, Program Manager, Tooth Taxi
Update Number 12 | 12/01/08 | Dayton
We had a very successful week in Dayton. The Tooth Taxi kept rolling all week while Dr. Heringer was out, thanks to our committed volunteer dentists Dr. Mike Goger and Dr. Bill Ten Pas. A special thank you to Dr. Goger for keeping the Tooth Taxi in service throughout the week.
The Tooth Taxi continues to be a learning laboratory for future dental professionals. Pre-dent students Ann Nguyen and Jennie Vu assisted our dentists on Wednesday, while the principal’s daughter Lousia Woodworth volunteered with us Thursday morning. Louisa, a junior at Dayton high school is interested in becoming a dentist; she helped us with x-rays, sterilization and observed treatment. Louisa was really excited about all she experienced, news from her Mom is that she had a great time.

- $17,585 free dental treatment provided
