#34 Culver
October 21, 2013 by Mary Daly

It's always an adventure heading over Mt. Hood in late October.  This year, sans snow our trip was autumn in all its glory.  Trees in varied hues and a clear sky giving us an amazing view of Mt. Hood. The whole week we enjoyed colorful sunsets and sunrises and views of the Central Oregon mountains. Dr. Jay Lamb the Sr. VP at Moda Health kept staff and the patients laughing constantly Monday through Wednesday. He had a witty comment for just about everything. He was great with the kids and completed treatment on a number of children with his efficient dentistry.
Thursday Dr. Mark E Jensen from Bend and volunteer dental assistant Lydia Galan, who lives in Madras, spent half a day with us treating patients. Dr. Jensen was trying out his amateur comedy act on us. It was great to have them both.

Friday, regular volunteers from Sisters Dr. Ben Crockett and assistant Judy Sims were once again a pleasure to have on board; they do a great job with the kids.  This was our second visit to Culver coordinated by Barb Ibrahim school nurse.
