#29 Tigard's Virginia Garcia School Based Health Center
August 19, 2013 by Mary Daly

Collaborating with the Virginia Garcia School Based Health Center at Tigard High School the Tooth Taxi served students in the Tigard Tualatin school district.
Unlike our usual week where we have the convenience of a school full of students which functions as an always-full waiting room, we had to remain flexible to changing appointments and no-shows.

Heidi Lewis from dental claims, support at ODS/Moda, joined us as assistant while
Catherine Johnson is out.  Thanks Heidi and Dental Claims department!

Dr. William Q. Gebeau and office staff:  Kelli Bollig, RDH, Heather Bakker and Tanya Beaulieu.   Amidst our ever-changing schedule, they were always adaptable and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves, providing each of their patients with a very positive experience.

Dr. Patty Parker and Kim Armstrong from Willamette Dental.  Dr. Parker and Kim were always ready for something new, providing screening for very young children and offering treatment to older teenagers.

Dr. Lisa Bozzetti – Virginia Garcia Dental Clinic Director
Rashmi Jain (dentist from India)
Malia Band, Creston Dental Clinic
Former Tooth Taxi assistant and volunteer – Megan Reed Geser and her 7 mo. old son, Reed

Other notes:
66% of students screened needed treatment
34% needed no treatment.
